I guess you could say it is almost a pity that she wasn’t born in the clan; she would’ve made for a wonderful betrothal. She is slim and sure-footed, and she has a lovely round face, with round green-yellow eyes to match. Her ears are triangular, and rounded at the top, she has lovely triangular nose, and long white whiskers. Moving lower, her paws are white and they conceal thorn sharp claws, but not sharper than the average cat. The white of her paws moves up her body, and covers her chest and most of her face, goes around her neck, and completely takes over her underbelly. Her shoulders, and back are a mixture of grays, light oranges - they almost have a brownish hue to them – and some slight tabby markings – but you can hardly see them – with a little bit of darker brown mixed in. This pattern continues to cover her legs accept where they white touches. Her tail isn’t unique, the oranges, browns, grays are stripped, leaving a small white tip at the end. The colorful patches cover her ears, the back of her head, and comes down the nose where the white doesn’t touch. She is quick on her dainty paws, and perfers it that way. PERSONALITY - 479 - Independent- She doesn’t like taking order from anyone but herself. She hates it when she’s told what to do, and usually doesn’t do it. She likes doing her own thing – whither it’s getting into trouble, or just being rebellious. She likes the idea of chosing your own path, and not being governed by what some stupid code, or cat says you can and can’t do. This makes her, she feels, open for adventure and willing to take on anything and face anything. She doesn’t care if she has to face it alone, or with companions. - Audatious- Briar likes betting. She loves dares, no matter how dangerous or life threatening. She always has a feeling she’ll come back alive – but not nessicarily undamaged. In fact, she has many battle scars that have healed. She honestly can’t wait for someone thing to take a bite out of her ear – now matter how hard it hurts. This makes her reckless, and some still wonder why she’s alive. - Fearless- Along with being independent and audatious, I guess you can add fearless to the list, because you can’t have both without it. Briar’s fearlessness goes as far as one can push her until she feels uncomfortable doing it. And when this happens, she’ll pull out the claws and possibly shred your pelt, but leave you alive. She doesn’t want to be responsible for the death of another cat, for that is where her fearlessness faulters. Like Batman, you could almost say, she doesn’t want to take an innocent life. She has yet to meet a cat that she actually has wanted to kill. - Vigorous- This she-cat is still young, so she still have a lot of energy that goes through her. Often she stays up late at night looking for a fight to try and drain her energy. Picking fights with dogs, rats, and other cats. She nevers get bored, but to some it might be seen as bordum. Durring the day, she has a lot of energy. And she loves to go on many, mini-adventures! She can be considered forceful at times, though that is something that no one can explain until they’ve experianced it. Her mind is always buzzing, itching to go on a journey with some friends into the wild and see what goes on in the forest behind the no-furs nests. - Shameless- An throughout all of this, she is shameless. Shameless of her past, her personality, her opinions, and much more. She doesn’t give a caterwall of what anyone else things of her. She is very blunt and truthful, and she prefers for you to be the same way with her. She will ask for your opinion, and depending on the situation she’ll either reject it or go with it. She also doesn’t mind begging for food from humans. Afterall, she is no clan cat! HISTORY - 749 Briar was born to a kittypet named Molly. Molly was a pretty Calico, and she had bred with the neighbor, Olly was his name. Brair was the more adventurous out of her two sibblings, Kelly and Wales. Wales (who was named by the son of Molly’s owner) was a little adventurous and he and Briar would always go out into the garden of their home and pretend to be like the rumored cats of the forest. The three lived in a little subdivision five rows away from the forest. It was too far, but Briar, being the most adventurous of the three kits, always talked about going to the forest. Molly did everything she could to try and get his out of her daughter, but to no avail. When they were still young, Wales adopted by someone who lived three houses down from his family. Often he went and walked along the fence down to his old home, but he always went back. Kelly and Briar were the only ones that stayed behind. Young Briar didn’t like Kelly, she was too much like her father and mother. Sinsable and boring! Finally, Briar was six moons old and she decided she would have an adventure that would change her life! Tired of the kittypet way of life, “Things are just so boring without Wales here!” She had said to Kelly one day. So, with that, Briar left. She escaped on a misty morning, her mother and Kelly chasing after her to try and bring her back. Briar was sure-footed though, and a fast thinker. She took off down an alley and dissapeared into the morning mist. Hungry and tired, Briar tried her first meal outside of hard pellets mixed with goo. She dug around in a trasahcan till she found something that smelled okay, and ate it. A few weeks doing this she had found no one to talk to, accept on occassian she would visit Wales at his home. Wales listened with interest to her many adventures of digging through garbage cans and a near fight with a rat. She loved it, and when Wales asked her if she was coming back, she said she would never go back to living like a housepet. Wales was obviously hurt by the statement, and Briar tried to encourage him, but he didn’t want any of it. He made the excuse that he had to go back inside, and Briar as left alone on the fence. How she came upon Jet is an interesting story. When she reflects on it, she smiles. Here is why. A group of cats had been hanging around a corner, cattering wildly and cheering for a bulky cat named Hans. The cat he was fighting was a bright blue eyed simeses named Jet, obviously smaller and less bulky. The fight was exciting – she had never seen one before, you see – and as she watched Jet slip inbetween Hans’ paws, and slash at him from the side, and leap on to his back, and caught him off balance, Briar decided he would be her mentor! After the fight was over, Jet slipped away from the crowed unnoticed, almost. Briar followed him into an alley and pursued him for a long time before he finally realized he was being followed. (Briar was now 8 moons old). When Briar tried to explain what she wanted from him, he zipped around her and knocked her to one side, and dissapearead down the alley. Frustraited, and dazed, and in awe, all at once, Briar scented the air for his scent and followed. It was almost a week before she finally caught up with him. He was dozing in the sun, clearly enjoying himself and thinking nothing of the kit that had was following him. Finaly, Briar was able to make claim, and Jet, seeing she was determined to learn everything he knew, (he was slightly disturbed, yet impressed, that she had stalked him for a whole week.) After hearing her plead, and plead he agreed (mainly to shut her up) and started with her on patience. That had been many moons ago. Briar now is off on her own, taking up dares, and fighting toms on their own turf. She enjoys a challenge, and gets into a street fight whenever she can. She’s proud of what her mentor taught her, and she uses it every day, afraid that one day, she might forget it all. She’s not too bad at hunting either! [/style] |
