Basic; Shriekingvoice is a dark grey-brown tabby tom with naturally sharp claws and beautiful green-blue eyes. Details; Shriekingvoice is a long-legged tom with tabby black stripes, grey covering him from ear tip to tail, and his pelt is just which is littered with scars, and brown patches. Both of his ears, however, are still intact. His claws are long and sharp and his eyes have an evil like hue to them and they betray all his emotions – happy, sad, and thoughtful, you name it. His tail is only half docked off, he lost part of it in a fight when he was an apprentice. His face is short, but from the side it looks long and narrow. His nose it light pink, and his muzzle is all scratched up and ugly looking. But his voice is still soft and smooth when he wants it to be. PERSONALITY | 273 . Shriekingvoice is a snobby, sententiousness tom. No matter who you are he really doesn’t care for you and will willingly use you to his advantage. If you’re a she-cat then you had better watch out. The only she-cat Shriekingvoice ever cared for is in StarClan, and he won’t ever love anyone else, maybe. Even though he lied to her about her brother’s death! He never told anyone – especially her! He knew it would just break her heart and he couldn’t stand to be away from her, obviously. Because of the separation it has turned him even most impatient, and sometimes even a clumsy fighter. If he decides to give you a chance, however, he will tell you what you want to hear. What is most desired in your heart? What Nightfoot did to him. He’ll try to calm your fears and boost you up to what he wants you to think. If you are a warrior from another clan he’ll treat you with some respect, but not very much of it. He will get offensive and criticize. If you get into a fight with him, watch out, he doesn’t like to give up and will fight till his last breath, or till you give out. Unless you break off first then maybe you can speak with him sensibly, but don’t count on it. He does want to train an apprentice, but he knows he would never have the patience for one like his own mentor. (Even if his mentor sometimes lost her temper with him.) He can be found almost anywhere in the territory if you so desire to speak with him. HISTORY | 1,159 . Kit hood: Shriekingvoice was born to ThunderClan. At a very young age, kit age to be exact, Shriekingvoice was not always ‘Shriekingvoice’. He was named Rattlekit. And it wasn’t until his parents realized that he would have a very high-pitched battle cry that they thought it would have been better off named Shriekingkit. But hoping it was just a vocal mishap and that he would grow out of it he remained Rattlekit! Whenever Rattlekit would go out to play with the other kits and they got into a squeamish, or played a game that dealt with attacking he would always let out a high-pitched squeal, Rattlekit found this to be a very good strategy, so he tried not to do it often. But over time it became obsessive… . Apprentice Hood: At the age of six moons he was apprenticed to Nightfoot, and even though Nightfoot seemed good on the outside she was really rather… evil. For the next twelve moon he would learn to hunt expertly, fight acceptably, and even learn to use his high-pitched shriek to advantage in battle. During all of this his mentor slowly reveled that she had great plans for him, if he would willingly do what she wanted him to. Rattlepaw was excited. He had never been on the inside before so he took the chance thinking nothing would go wrong and that it wouldn’t affect him as it had Nightfoot. But he was wrong. Every step he took towards evil, the harder he found to turn back. He had vowed to follow Nightfoot blindly, trusting her every step of the way. Eventually it lead to the killing of Morningpaw’s brother Weaslepaw, when the young light-brown tom got curious about the night sessions with Nightfoot. Weaslepaw overheard things he wasn’t supposed too, and when Nightfoot scented him just on the outskirts she called him and he came. Then, to Rattlepaw’s shock and dismay, Nightfoot put the two apprentices to fighting. “Remember what I taught you, Rattlepaw. Too slow Rattlepaw! Good Rattlepaw.’ Was all she would mew. And when Rattlepaw had finally killed Weaslepaw with a final blow, Nightfoot smiled calmly and said, “Excellent, Rattlepaw. You make me proud.” Rattlepaw was mortified that he had killed a ThunderClan Apprentice and no one knew but Weaslepaw. He didn’t feel good at all for him and he had wanted out of what Nightfoot was teaching him late at night, but his mentor calmly treated him with care, like a mother a terrified kit, and spoke soothingly to the young apprentice, that it was alright and it was his time. He wasn’t beneficial to the clan, so he had to go. When she put it in that light, everything he did made him feel better. He had done something good for the clan by killing Weaslepaw, and he felt strangely proud about it. Nightfoot told him to go and get some sleep and she would see him in the morning. So he did so. (Nightfoot, meanwhile, went and put Weaslepaw by the ShadowClan border and made it look like a ShadowClan warrior had killed the apprentice.) The next morning, Morningpaw kept enquiring about her brother and when the Clan found out he had been killed by an ShadowClan warrior they were forced to go to battle with them. (though it was short lived). The days seemed endless to Rattlepaw as the war raged and swelled to a point where, Rattlepaw had killed even more apprentices and more warriors than he had ever thought he would in a life time! Or so it felt. So many lives he had taken for something he had done. And amongst all of this he fell in love with Morningpaw and she with him, for reasons she believed were right. He was trying to avenge her brother’s death, and he showed endless care for her in return. At the end of the battle Nightfoot spoke with the leader about his name and wanted him to be named Shriekingvoice, for his high-pitched battle cry that had never left him. The leader agreed that it was more fitting than Rattlevoice, the name he was going to give to Rattlepaw. This was a big surprise, but Morningpaw too, was also to become a warrior for fighting so bravely, and she was thus named Morningbreeze. . Warrior Hood: As time went on, Shriekingvoice fell more and more with Morningbreeze as the years went on. But behind her back he was stalking the night with his former mentor, killing off the possible deputies one by one, but through decent spaces in time instead of all at once until the thought of becoming deputy consumed him. He hid it as best he could from Morningbreeze, who was now his mate, and when it finally came down to Nightfoot becoming deputy he decided it was time she got what she deserved. So, on a moon filled night, half moon, when the medicine cats went to the moon pool to share tongues with StarClan, he went out on a night patrol with Nightfoot. Just the two of them, and on the border of WindClan she stopped to check a marker, obviously pleased that she was now deputy, and poke to Shriekingvoice, “One day, when I am leader, you shall be my deputy. And Morningbreeze’s kits will become the finest warriors in the Clan knowing their father is deputy and to be leader of ThunderClan. A Clan that all of the members will be proud of to join.” She always spoke that way to Shriekingvoice. But no more! He didn’t want to wait for their leader to die and wait for Nightfoot to become leader and die. He wasn’t willing to take the risk. So he fought her on the WindClan border and killed her, expecting to become the next deputy of the Clan, but alas. Someone else did. And from there, what had been Nightfoot’s dream became his. . Becoming a Father & Deputy of Bloodclan: It finally came to the point to where Shriekingvoice was so busy trying to take care of the clan and the one the loved that he hadn’t noticed Morningbreeze had gone into the forest, kitted, and died! He stumbled upon her alone; the kit mewling like there was no tomorrow. He had no idea how he would explain it to the clan, and the Warrior code stated that they weren’t to leave a kit unattended to die in the wild. So, not saying anything he took the kit into camp to be nursed by a queen. He named the kit Seakit. It seemed only yesterday since he had brought Seakit home, for his apprenticeship went fast, and then he was named Seafang, appropriately. It was also about this time that Korse had asked him, Shriekingvoice, to be his deputy. Shriekingvoice agreed on the account that his son would be leader of Thunderclan. This was agreed too, and Shriekingvoice went to live in Bloodclan. ooc| This arrangement of his being Deputy was agreed by Van. Basically what he does is he goes ahead of Korse and prepares the clan for his arrival. He also goes ahead of Gypsy and prepares the clan for her arrival. xD It's not so hard being a bear of bad-news. [/style] |
