He not only struts his good looking self, but he takes it upon himself to show off his skills and his muscles whenever he can (usually when there is a she-cat around). He prides himself on the uniqueness of his pelt. The white mass around his neck, covering his chin, and jaw, and the thick band of white that goes down his chest and covers his underbelly, his paws are tipped, too, with white. Tabby stripes cover his body in blackish-brown. The rest of his coat is mottled brown and tan, which extends to cover his face, back, sides, tail, and legs, like something you would see Batman in. Around his mouth is a dark patch of brownish-orange. His ears are typical for a cat, and his eyes are rather unique, a rich green, with a brown hue mixed in. And his nose is a soft pink. He is very muscular, yet by his frame, he looks like a dainty thing, white tipped paws and all. PERSONALITY | 399 - Braggart, flirt, heart-breaker. In other words, he’s very boastful! He likes to talk himself up, whither can do what he’s bragging about or not is completely up to the listener. He exaggerates fights. This gets really bad around she-cats! If the she-cat is flirty, he will flirt back, and if she’s really into what he seems to be saying, he’ll probably keep right on rambling. So far, he hasn’t said anything about being able to take on Korse, because he knows he can’t, and that there are ears listening for any sign of treachery that might come from within the clan itself. He’s always been proud of his accomplishments, yet some of his choices haven’t exactly been the best. For instance, he’s broken many a she-cats hearts because he led them on, and being as emotionless as a stone, he often wonders if someone will ever truly love him… - Arrogant, snobby, stuck-up. Alo makes himself out to be ‘bigger’ than he really is. I believe I coverd some of this in Braggart, but it is true. He is prideful, and takes pride in the smallest things (like his pelt, and getting it dirty, and how sharp his claws are.) Often times the Bloodclan deputy has caught him boasting about himself in ways that have made him seem… superior to Korse. He counts his stripes that he’s still alive, and on occasion when he’s trying to impress upon someone, he’ll cast around an arrogant remark, passing it off as sarcasm. - Rumor Mill. Need I say more? Alo loves spreading rumors. “The Healer is in love with a stray on the outskirts of the suburb!” Or sometimes something more serious, “The deputy is plotting against Korse, I can feel it!” But most of the time, it is mainly small talk, and it dies after only a week. But who knows, no one really takes him seriously, so if he was telling the truth no one would believe him anyway right? Like the boy who cried wolf, and then when it’s too late… - Obnoxious. Over all, Alo might be one of the most unpleasant cats in Bloodclan to be around. He often comes off as obnoxious to other cats, and to tell you the truth, he could careless about what others think of him. He’s himself, and he likes it that way… even if it gets him killed. HISTORY | 544 Alo as a Kit. Born to Sayen (Native American for Sweet, Lovely in Mapuche) and Kaneonuskatew (Kane for short, Native American for ‘one who walks on four claws’ in Cree), he and his sister Shikoba (Native American for ‘Feather’ in Choctaw) were the only survivors of a litter of three. Kane and Sayen never spoke of the third, so Alo (Native American for ‘Spiritual Guide’ in Hopi) grew up never knowing he had a brother, and neither did his sister. Both were born in Bloodclan just after the war had ended and Bloodclan took control of the forest. Alo and his sister were a naughty couple of kits. They were always getting into trouble, and just like all kits sometimes do, they always asked questions that were out of the ordinary. Alo’s favorite one was: “When will I be able to train?” and his sisters was: “How old are you?” These two also ran away a few times, and tried to get into the clans (It almost got to the point to where their parents gave up) but when Alo and Shikoba reached the rightful age of six moons, they were apprenticed, Alo was taught to fight, and Shikoba was taught to hunt before she was betrothed to some tom in the clans. Alo as an Apprentice. Alo was now doing what he called ‘Fulfilling his destiny’, as he trained to become a loyal warrior of Bloodclan. And with his training came many familiar personalities, such as those of his den mates, and so forth. All of his apprentice years were pretty much the same as his kit-hood, only more dangerous. For instance, he and couple (four to be exact) went out into the alleys late one night, when the moon was black and they only had starlight to guide them, they went to scout out a ‘threat’ that one of his friends had overheard coming from the warriors, of a rabid dog on the loose. To cut the story short, three of them made it back alive. They ended up finding the dog, and as they were running out of the escape root the dog caught up with the one trailing in the end (of course she had been a slow apprentice, just as mischievous as the others) and she lost her life to the dog – who had not been rabid. The clan mourned the loss of the she-cat, but life went on as usual. This began Alo’s boasting problem, and making it seem like he was the one who had thought of everything (which was only half true). His ‘friends’ let him go, knowing that they could get away with doing the same thing. Alo as a Warrior. Now, Alo is always out looking for trouble to get into. His ‘friends’ split up and every now and then he’ll see one of them fighting it out over a she-cat, or a piece of prey, or something totally stupid, and he just keeps on walking. Every now and then, he’ll take a moonlight stroll with a pretty she-cat and then end up breaking her heart, or she trying to break his, or maybe he’s roaming around looking for a dog to scratch up so he can bring home more tall-tales of his bravery… [/style] |
